Sirius Satellite Radio Beams Up Sandbox Marketing

Sandbox Marketing has entered into a one-year sponsorship deal with Sirius Satellite Radio for the 2002 Core Tour Sports & Music Festival, announced today by Sandbox Marketing, owner of the tour.

Under terms of the deal, The New York, New York based Sirius Satellite Radio will showcase it’s product line via a mobile interactive display at the Core Tour Finals in Huntington Beach, CA, Sept 6-8. Consumers can experience Sirius’ all new satellite radio technology and win cool prizes while checking out some of the some of the best action sports athletes at the Core Tour Sports & Music Festival.

What is Sirius Satellite Radio? From its three satellites orbiting directly over the U.S., Sirius broadcasts 100 channels of digital quality radio throughout the continental United States for a monthly subscription fee of $12.95. Sirius delivers 60 original channels of completely commercial-free music in virtually every genre, and 40 world-class sports, news and entertainment channels.

Kenwood, Clarion, Audiovox, and Jensen satellite receivers, including models that can adapt any car stereo to receive Sirius, are available at retailers such as Circuit City, Best Buy, Sears, Good Guys, Tweeter, Ultimate Electronics and Crutchfield. Panasonic satellite radio products will be available in September 2002.
