NBC Universal Taps Sandbox to Produce Learn to Skate Event
NBC Universal®, Burbank, CA has hired Sandbox Marketing, Tustin, CA to produce the Telemundo® Learn to Skate event as part of the Spanish language networks Experiencia Deportiva. This sports extravaganza, to be held June 10, 2007 at Salt Lake Park, Huntington Park, CA, showcases a multitude of sports and musical acts for families to enjoy.
The Telemundo® Learn to Skate is a unique opportunity for Hispanic youths ages 6-14 to come out and participate in a once in a lifetime experience. Telemundo® will be bringing out 3 professional Latino skateboarders to instruct kids on the proper way to skateboard, including safety.
The youths will have the opportunity to skateboard on a first rate street course that has been designed and built with fun and safety in mind.
The entire event will have a bilingual MC host, with family friendly music. The Telemundo® Skate Tour will have a very festive family atmosphere and there will be prizes given away throughout the day.
