NBC Universal Looks to Sandbox to Ramp Up Learn to Skate Event
NBC Universal, Burbank, CA has once again hired Sandbox Marketing, Tustin, CA to produce the Telemundo Learn to Skate event as part of the Spanish language networks Experiencia Deportiva. This sports extravaganza, to be held June 22, 2008 at Salt Lake Park, Huntington Park, CA, showcases a multitude of sports and musical acts for families to enjoy.
The Telemundo Learn to Skate is a unique opportunity for Hispanic youths ages 6-14 to come out and participate in a once in a lifetime experience. Telemundo will be bringing out 3 professional Latino skateboarders to instruct kids on the proper way to skateboard, including safety.
The youths will have the opportunity to skateboard on a first rate street course that has been designed and built with fun and safety in mind.
The entire event will have a bilingual MC host, with family friendly music. The Telemundo Skate Tour will have a very festive family atmosphere and there will be prizes given away throughout the day.
Adding to the fun and excitement will be a BMX stunt show featuring professional BMX riders performing daring stunts on a quarter-pipe and box jump.
